Gateways to Nihility

Replicate Extinction This band is super underrated. I came across this album by accident and was stunned at how good it is. This is probably the best modern representation of a cross between black metal, deathcore, and death metal that I've ever heard. And the vocals are top notch. I hope this band gets the recognition they deserve. Favorite track: As They Lay Gutted.

Legions rise at my will, invoking necromancy. Commanding the rotten, my wrath is infinite. Chants of butchery resound, may death conquer all around. Hordes from the crypts, their stench arouses me. A great monarch that scorched my hand with disloyalty, you and yours will suffer. I shall observe the undead massacre them all, even those free of sin. To tear at their throats, they will swarm the living. Unleashing a fury that no mortal has ever seen. I stand atop of my primordial tower, the cold winds rage through my legions below. Sickening acts about to commence, the cold winds fuel my legions below. "Lead them De Seis,my trusted general. The congregation and I shall follow."

Surging down those frostbitten peaks, my ungodly trio commands them. Instructed to ravage their allies across the vast wilderness, the harsh environment affects them none. Scouts found amidst the snow covered trees, they were eliminated with much ease. My horde proceeds as if deaths whip lases upon its back. De Seis, Infector, Grand Vizier, Immortal... Nightfall has fallen upon us, an unforeseen blizzard wails on. We march through with torches, the entrance to the tunnel has been found. Free willed units will sacrifice themselves, evenly distributed for consumption. Nourishing the upper echelons, their servitude will not be forgotten. "De Seis, we must proceed through the storm for the moon shall light our righteous path. Assemble Infector, Grand Vizier, and the horde, for we are death in its purest form." De Seis, Infector, Grand Vizier, Immortal...

The moonlight was unkind to them, revealing their positions, promising death in our wake. The menacing mountains, titans of the Earth, surround us and them. The chilling temperatures weaken our mortal prey. Waves of ghouls poised to drown them. Dying is not a fear for the thrill to feast is here. Units ordered to sabotage from all directions, the falling snow will camouflage them. Their contorted movements, creeping behind with grave intentions. Reminiscent of a slithering serpent, creeping behind with grave intentions. Purveyors of suffering unleashed, our chilled victims attempt to react, but it's too late. De Seis and the horde swarm them from all sides, they know they face absolute annihilation. Their blood flows like a river, hundreds of bodies left as an example. This frozen landscape serves as a graveyard now, the elemental's will wither it all away. Succumbing to the cold grasp of death...

Marching through the desolate lands, we must find the ancient burial grounds. Pay homage to our ancient ones, the lifeblood of our power. We chant in unison around the precious pillars. Infector and Grand Vizier both step forward. With open arms, they are both freely taken. Surely we will embrace this decision. "Fear not brethren, we must satisfy our ancient ones. Move forward to them, erase their existence. Vicar, we patiently wait for your summoning, so we can haunt this world once again." We continued to chant in unison, screeches came howling like violent winds. With open arms, we took their offerings. Towards the monarch we marched, with the abyss on our side. "Their watch towers have finally been spotted. They lie beyond those towering gates. Slaughter them all, but spare the monarch. I'll make sure he revels in misery."
6.
Their entrails hang as they lay gutted. Anguish drowned them, violently bludgeoned. Disemboweled for marvelous consumption, your screams were not in vain. Limbs to be removed piece by piece, their severed heads to be trophies of war. "A plethora of corpses to feed the vultures, a pileup that reeks of decimation. Great monarch, your fate grows dismal. Fear not, you will enjoy slavery." Your eyes said more than death ever could. Now you'll be forced to writhe in failure. You weep as you watch them be consumed, absolutely exquisite. Their entrails hang as they lay gutted. Anguish drowned them, violently bludgeoned. Utopian civilization reduced to nothing but ruin. Not the first, nor the last to crumble to our domination. Your eyes said more than death ever could. Screams echoing through the monastery, screams that come from your own. Terrified as you march toward the congregation.
7.
I see them as I’m dragged, the revered howling hounds. Surely they would love to tear at my flesh, devouring as I shriek in agony. The chilling chants of the congregation grow louder, I can now see the ancient halls. Thrown before them , I was brought here only to be damned. Ghoul like entities haunt these halls, robes of majestic cloth surround me now. The hounds salivate as I’m impaled by the human bone dagger. The juncture of death approaching, cackling vibrates through these halls of death. I hear his admired stride as the hounds bay for my soul. Enter Cardinal Vicar... His staff, conjurer of necromancy, lashed upon my back like the slave stick. Death grip around my neck, I’ll be thrust into the oblivion, but he let go......

I thought my excruciating expression altered his choice, until I was lashed repeatedly on the floor. The strength to rise does not exist anymore, nor does the chance to live. Once again, I’m gasping for air as his mighty grasp crushes my throat. He lifts me and declares how I’ll perish, what have I done to deserve this? “Your disloyalty was a grave mistake. I’ll now show you barbarism. Each of your limbs will be impaled by my staff, the holes will drain and fester with infection. I won’t stop there though. Your tongue and your eyes shall be ripped from their orifices, you then will feed my undead. Embrace the gateways to nihility.” “I gazed as they devoured him, his suffering ends with tranquility. This isn’t the end though, our domination will continue.....”
